About Us
MJL Motors is a car repair garage in Leith, Edinburgh.
Our team specialize in MOT preparations, general repairs, servicing, welding and diagnostics.
We'd like to think our repair times are short and pricing is competitive. Before commencing any work you will be provided with non obligatory quote. All parts and labour are covered by 12 months warranty.
If the car is booked in advance usual repair times are:
- full service - half a day
- timing belt - same day collection
- clutch - same day collection
- brakes or suspension half a day
- MOT including repairs usually same day collection.
Services provided by MJL Motors are:
- tyre fitting and puncture repairs
- exhaust fitting and repairs
- timing belts replacment
- brake repairs , including brake pipes, hoses, calipers, brake disc and pads, hand brake cables
- steering repairs - steering racks, tie rods, track rod ends.
- suspension repairs - including wishbones, bushes, shock absorbents, coil springs, suspension mounts.
- window regulators replacement, door locks replacement
- engine repairs from individual gasket trough head gasket replacement to complete engine overhaul.
- manual gearbox repairs,
We are also undertake work on classic cars.
Reliant Scimitars are quite close to our hearts.
Armstrong Siddley, Austin-Healey Sprite, Morris Minor, Citroen DS, Saab 99, Hillman Minx, MG B, Citroen 2CV, Land Rover Lightweight and Series II, Porsche 928, Mercedes Pagoda are the cars that visited our place over the years.
VW T4 are a often seen in our place.
We work on them regularly. From a 1.9d panel van trough 2.4d Reimo and 2.5 petrol Westfalia to 2.5 tdi bus.
